Production-quality code factories.

Agent intelligence has not peaked. Scaling it through conversation has. I build factories where AI agents do real software work — specified, reviewed, measured. Vellum Command is the floor they run on.

The factory

A few assistants at the console. Hundreds of workers on the floor.

An assistant roots every piece of work in one conversation — your attention, your authority, your trust envelope. Add more assistants and you multiply workers, never intents.

A factory replaces the conversation as the root object. Work lives on a durable board that outlives every session. Workers hold contracts, not context. The checks run before the claims. Assistants keep what conversation is actually for — ambiguity, intent, taste — and the work goes to the floor.

Vellum Command is the macOS app I run my factory on — one board, queued work, agents that pull tasks and escalate only at the extremes. In private beta; it runs my factory today.
